Hometeam Construction is a custom home design/build firm that started in 1999 as a 3 man carpentry crew. Jeff Milford, Jeff O’Brien and Patrick Zarcone were on the same framing crew in upstate New York before moving to Myrtle Beach in 1999. The business was incorporated in the state of South Carolina in April of 2001. When started, the focus was on framing and siding. In 2002, however, Hometeam Construction built its first custom home in Pawleys Island. The homeowner, Bryan Klinger, still lives there today. Since then, the company has experienced tremendous growth due to strict adherence to its customer satisfaction driven mission statement. We are a customer-driven business with an operating philosophy of building customer satisfaction and quality into everything we do. Our goal is to be a profitable company with an outstanding reputation of building quality homes.”

In 2007 Hometeam built its first custom home in Cypress River Plantation. The unparalleled attention to detail and custom features incorporated into the home guaranteed its sale before completion. PGA Golfer and Ryder Cup team member Dustin Johnson, 2016 U.S. Open winner, even became a proud owner of a Hometeam masterpiece. People notice the difference that a hands-on approach from the owners of a company can make. Direct Hometeam employees (Not Sub-contractors) do the majority of the work in a Hometeam home. The employees are highly trained professionals and their experienced supervisors believe in superior craftsmanship with a passion for quality, workplace organization, and cleanliness. Customers also enjoy seeing the same three partners on-site every day, often working with their “nail bags on”. The owners of the company are responsible to build your home, not a superintendent. Customers have direct lines of access to the owners themselves ensuring efficient communication and streamlining the process for everyone.
